‘When you go to the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Atlanta Hawks preseason game in Cincinnati, OH only to find out you have first row seats and Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather is sitting right in front of you’.. Yea, that happened last week!
#JustLivingLife
I’ve been to the annual Cleveland Cavalier’s preseason game in Cincinnati before, but there has never been this many people. A few years back you could literally sit anywhere in the arena because no one was there. However, since the likes of LeBron James & JR Smith have joined the Cavs, everyone from the locals to major celebrities are making time to come to these games. And luckily, KeevaMarie.com was there to witness it all.
This year I hit up the game with @prettyas_adoll (be sure to follow her on the gram). She is the Head of Public Relations for KeevaMarie.com and her everyday bluntness makes her commentary hilarious! While she’s the more always on time type of person, I’m the always running a little late type of person. Meaning, in standard Keeva Marie Fashion I was a tad bit late.. I rushed in thinking our seats were balcony seats only to be confused when they directed us towards the floor. They had me like ummmm.. where we going?? Then I realized our seats were legitimately on the floor, in the front row! Ayeeeeeee…. Winning!
Once we settled in, it was officially Game Time.. and we had a front row view to the live action of King James, JR Swish, and Jeff Teague. The game had our full attention. While @prettyas_adoll was rooting for the Hawks, I tried to stay loyal to the Cavs. We saw a few good dunks, some steals, and a couple crossovers, but this was a preseason game and most of the game time action had us like womp.. womp.. womp.. Nobody was playing too hard and the Hawks ended up defeating the Cavs 98-96.

Honestly, some of my favorite game day action happened off the court. As King James displayed ‘LeBron Love the Kids’.. by making several kids day! He started off shaking the hands of every kid who could make it down to him in time. Then he took one kid’s phone to take the ultimate ‘chilling at the game with LeBron’ selfie.
Later on he picked out the sweetest young fan and gave her his headband. He then brought her over to sit on the bench with him and the other players. He definitely made her night!!
While it was great sitting in the front row, and it was cute seeing LeBron interacting with the kids, the most exciting game day moment for me was when security started to make their way through and guess who they were escorting… Mr. Floyd Mayweather! I’m talking thee ‘Pretty Boy’ Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, CEO of The Money Team aka TMT! The undefeated boxing champion who makes more in a few rounds of boxing then most make in a lifetime and has a net worth close to $400 Million! Can we say this man is #BLESSED! So, what was the view like from behind the $400 Million Dollar Man? Pretty dope!
Throughout the game I felt like I was a TMT affiliate just because my seat was right there. Everyone was rushing to our section and they were all eventually sent right back to their seats. Tons of people came down yelling at Floyd trying to get pictures, but he could not worry! He kept his hood up and only turned around the one time I yelled out at him. (That’s when I knew that my TMT affiliate status was official LMAO). Literally, everyone stopped by to chat it up with Floyd which gave us front row seats to see Cleveland Cavalier’s Lebron James, JR Smith, Mo Williams, Cincinnati Bengal’s Wallace Gilberry, Greg Little, Vontaze Burfict, and PacMan Jones among others.
I might never be that close to $400 Million Dollars again (sigh), but in the moment it was pretty dope and made for the ultimate ‘when I went to the game and sat behind Floyd Mayweather’ story! Check out pics from the game below to see who attended and hear the game day commentary from me and @prettyas_adoll.
