If Sitting Front Row At A Concert Is Not On Your Bucket List… Add It!

When you're in the front row of a concert and Weezy starts up... "Look me in my face, I ain't got no worries" the only reaction you can have is to shout back... "B*SSSSHHH I AIN'T GOT NO WORRIES!!!"

Yep.. them front row seats really had me feeling some type of way...

In all honesty, it simply amazes me the opportunities that come my way. I was blessed enough to have the experience of sitting in the front row for the 'Big Show at the Joe' Concert in Detroit Michigan at the Joe Louis Arena. The concert featured Trick Trick, Dejloaf, August Alsina, Omarion, Yo Gotti, Trey Songz, AND Lil Wayne!! And nope, I didn't pay for front row tickets, but God put me in the front row. And I am beyond grateful!! So, let me tell y'all about the turn up from the front row.

In typical Keeva Marie fashion I was running late. Usually, concerts start late so I was thinking "I'm late, oh well, no problem, “I ain't got no worries..." BUT, this would be the first concert in history, that actually started on time. Within the first 30 minutes we had already missed Trick Trick, Dejloaf, and August Alsina. Let me tell y'all I was beyond disappointed! The last time I purchased tickets to see August Alsina the show was cancelled, and now I've missed him again! I feel like he owes me a concert (can somebody forward this message to his people??!)

Once we finally took our seats the disappointment faded as the excitement took over! Omarion hit center stage and was literally right in front of us. He started out with some of those "You Got Served" dance battle moves, then sang some of the classics like Ice Box and even took it waayyy back with Bump, Bump, Bump from the B2K days! Next up he had his DJ, P Dub, turned the crowd up with my jam "Flick of the Wrist". Y'all don't have to believe me, but Omarion looked right at me cheesing as he wound up his flick of the wrist and I flicked it right back at him!! "Ayyeee.." the front row turn up had begun!

Then, blasting from the speakers, I hear "It's ya boy Yo Goootttiii!" "Uh-ohhhhh.." the front row turn up continues! Yo Gotti took the stage and the whole arena went crazy. He performed some of my favorites like Errybody, I Know, and Yayo! His music is truly meant for the turn up. There's no way you can listen to Yo Gotti and not start to bop! Literally, the whole arena was hype.. I'm talking hands up, hitting their bop, and rapping every word like they wrote it themselves!

After Yo Gotti, it was Trey's turn to hit the stage. Let me just say, if there is anyone who has perfected the art of being a Sex Symbol it is Trey Songz. Mr. Steal Ya Girl had all the ladies screaming his name. From the flirtatious smile, God given dimples, and defined abs he had the ladies mesmerized. "Yuuuuup.." that front row lusting was in full affect! Trey sang some of his ladies favorites including Na Na, Foreign, and Bottoms Up. He also hit some of his signature runs to remind the crowd he's more than just a pretty face. And, in true Trey Songz fashion as the show progressed he also progressively loss his clothing. I ain't complaining though! My only complaint is that Trey never once looked down at the front row. I was extra disappointed.. so much so that I feel like he owes me dinner (can y'all please forward that message too?!! haha).

After seeing great performances by Omarion, Yo Gotti, and Trey Songz.. Lil Wayne was up!! Here comes the "Awweee shoot ...B*SH I AIN'T GOT NO WORRIES!!!" front row turn up! Wayne's energy was crazy! Every movement, every pause, and every lyric was ingeniously animated creating the perfect headliner performance! The entire arena reached the peak of their turn up as Wayne performed A Millie, Lollipop, and Mrs. Officer. Then, as I'm singing along to "these hoes ain't loyal.." Wayne looks at me and I realize we're singing together. Now y'all know that meant I had to go extra hard. I was spitting those lyrics like I was trynna get a record deal! My friend then gets excited because she is a huge Lil Wayne fan. Wayne looks over at her, starts to laugh, then points at us like he's saying I see y'all!! My front row experience was made!

“There's 3 things that you need to know about me... One. I believe in God. Two. I ain't sh*t without you. And three. I AIN'T SH*T WITHOUT YOU!!"

-Lil Wayne *Drops mic. Exits stage left.*

The experience of sitting in the front row of a concert, seeing, and singing along with some of your favorite artists is the best feeling ever!! Instead of just watching the performances, you're partying with them. You're making eye contact, rapping to each other, and you no longer feel like a fan, instead you're apart of the crew! So, if sitting front row at a concert is not on your bucket list.. ADD IT!!!
